Fractional Management

Fractional Management

Grants don't get done when you're the only one doing everything.

You already know grants matter. But between running programs, supporting staff and volunteers, handling finances, and everything else that lands on your desk, grants don't get the time or attention they deserve.

If this sounds familiar, I'm here to help.

What's included:

Finding Opportunities

I identify and prioritize the right funding opportunities, so you don’t have to spend time searching.

Tracking Dates and Deadlines

I manage deadlines and reporting, so nothing slips through the cracks.

Writing and Submitting Proposals

I prepare complete applications for your review and approval, so everything is submitted on time.

Compiling Program Data

I organize the information needed for proposals and reports, so materials are always ready.

Managing Reporting

I complete reporting requirements and share drafts for approval, so funders stay informed.

Deepening Funder Relationships

I maintain funder communication, keeping you informed without requiring day-to-day involvement.

STEP 1: We review your starting point

We talk about current, past, and prospective grants, what's coming up, and what's fallen behind. There's no prep needed on your end. You tell me what you know and what information you have written down, and I figure out the rest.

STEP 2: We finalize scope and process

Together, we'll find the sweet spot between your needs and your budget, so you're maximizing your resources and my expertise. We'll also determine details like what you want to weigh in on or approve before it goes out.

STEP 3: I take care of everything

From there, I manage the entire process: researching opportunities, writing proposals, coordinating any data I need from you, and keeping on top of deadlines. I also maintain a grants dashboard so you can always see what's coming up next.

STEP 4: We check in regularly

I schedule regular check-ins so you stay updated without being overwhelmed. We'll discuss current priorities, upcoming deadlines, progress with funder relationship-building, and any changes on your end. You avoid surprises and gain peace of mind.

Total time: 2hrs - 10hrs per month

What this might look like

We start by defining a scope of work based on your priorities and budget. Then, we agree on a monthly retainer so I can focus on the work, not tracking hours -- and you never have to choose between progress and cost.
